Mamou- A Mass of Christian Burial will l be held on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 10:00 AM for Carl Ed. Thomas, 57 at St Peters Catholic Church , with Father Broussard officiating. Burial will follow in the Ortegos Cemetery.

Carl, a resident of Mamou, died on Thursday, December 31, 2008 at 7:30PM at Savoy Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife , Debbie A. Thomas of Mamou, La ; a daughter, Heather Renee Thomas, of Ville Platte, La; two brothers, Jon Thomas and wife Charlene of Pine Prairie, La, and Wilbur Gauthier and wife Sonia, of Brandon Mississippi; one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Thomas and Velma Johnson

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 1, 2009 from 10AM until 10PM. The funeral home will reopen on Friday, January 2, 2009 8AM until time of services.

A Rosary will be recited on Thursday Evening at 7PM at Ardoin Funeral Home of Mamou, La.
