Mamou- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2009, for Calvin gre-yoe Bertrand . Services will be held at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou, La at 2:00p.m.. Burial will follow in the Reeds Cemetery. Father Bryce Sibley will officiate at the services.
Calvin, a native of Mamou, died on September 22, 2009 at Savoy Care Center , at 11:43 am.
He is survived by one son , Larry Fontenot, of Lafayette; one sister, Corrine Bertrand, of Opelousas.
He was preceded in death by his, wife, Alma Jean Bertrand.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 24, 2009 from 10:00a.m. until time of services.
