Brenda Mcgee

MAMOU - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Brenda Dupre McGee at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice, LA. Father Hampton Davis will be the celebrant of the mass followed by Interment at Reed Cemetery.

Brenda Dupre McGee, 69, passed away suddenly at her residence on Saturday, November 26, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Brenda was a very faithful Christian who attended Mass and said her Rosary daily. She instilled her Christian values into her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with loved ones and serving everyone she knew. Brenda will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Shelly Bieber, Nadine Richardson, and Rhonda McCauley and husband, Billy; son, Shaine McGee and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Sean Patrick. Heather and husband, Grant, Victoria and husband, Austin, Heidi, Shelby, Brock, Joshua, Nathan, Ethan, Kaleb, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Anne, James, Claire, and Leo, whom she was anxiously awaiting to arrive; parents, Mayonce and Mercedese Dupre; brothers, Joseph Blanchard Dupre, Roger Dupre, Jean Dupre, and Myron Dupre; sisters, Debra D. Barron, Verna D. Melancon, Rosemary D. Batton, and Myra D. Muse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferrell McGee; sister, Angela D. Aymond; her maternal grandmother and grandfather, Thelma J. Dupre and Abey Dupre; and her paternal grandmother and grandfather, Adosia D. Dupre and Lamar Dupre.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Eunice. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM.
