MAMOU-Chapel services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou for Barbara Gail Fontenot, 69, who passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at her residence, in Mamou. Burial will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery with Father Bryce Sibley officiating.

Barbara is survived by; two daughters, Bridgette Storms and husband William III of Mamou Brooksie Toups of Mindin; two sons, Cody Manuel and Calvin Manuel, Jr. both of Mindin; one sister, Carrie Lou Soileau and husband, George of Mamou; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs.Avince and Alcina Fontenot.;

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Monday, June 22, 2009 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou from 3:00 pm 9:00 pm . The Funeral Home will reopen on Tuesday at 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday at9:30 am.
