MAMOUA wonderful, sister, Aunt, and friend, Barbara Corkern will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Bobbie died on Thursday , at 8:05am June 10, 2010 at Savoy Medical Center. She was 64. Chapel Services will be held at 11:00 am at the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou on Saturday, June 12, 2010. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Cemetery in Mamou with Brother Alvin Ogea Celebrant.
She leaves behind a loving and grateful family, including her loving sister Linda Corkern of Mamou one brother, David Corkern and wife Peggy of Baton Rougetwo nieces, Stephanie Blair Sensat, and Crystal Corkern, one nephew, David Corkern III two great nephews, Cody Sensat and Edward Blair
She now rests in heaven with her beloved parents, Elzie David and Mary Lou Corkern . At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm. The Funeral Home will reopen at 8:00am Saturday until time of services.
