Avery Jai Raby, 5 months, of Mamou, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was born in Eunice, LA on July 20, 2023, sharing a birthday with her twin sister, Ari’ Raby. She was a very easy and happy baby, loved interacting with her siblings, and blessed everyone with her infectious smile. A Funeral Services will be held at Word of Faith Gospel Church in Mamou, LA on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow in the Word of Faith Cemetery.
She will be greatly missed and remembered by her parents, Aliyah White and Che Raby; her siblings, Raelynn White, Caislyn Green, Caden Raby, twin sister, Ari’ Raby; her grandmothers, Eleanor White, Chantell Raby and ; her grandfather, Arthur Drummer; her great-grandmother, Dorthy Stansberry; and her great-great-grandmother, Mary Hillard. Also, left to cherish her memories are her aunts, Shellond White, Cherelle White, Deja White, Sydney Drummer, Ashley Drummer, Lalyn Covington, Chalyn Raby, and Lisa George, and her uncles, Mykel Covington, Michael Covington, Isaiah Drummer, Ahmad Drummer, Elijah White, Jamal White, Michael White, and Arthur Drummer, Jr.
Baby Avery is proceeded in death by her uncle, Adrian Drummer.
At the family’s request, a visitation will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Word of Faith Full Gospel Church at 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
