:MAMOUA wonderful, wife mother, sister, grandmother, greatgrandmother and friend, Audrey Landreneau will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Audrey died on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Savoy Medical Center. She was 84. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou with Father Clinton Sensat officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Cemetery.
Audrey was a lifelong resident of Mamou. The things that brought Audrey the most joy in her life were being with her family and friends.
Audrey leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her loving husband, Joseph Audley Landreneau of Mamou five sons, Glenwood Joseph Landreneau and wife, Maffie of Houston,Tx, General Bennett Charles Landreneau and wife, Delores of Alexandria, Michael Keith Landreneau and wife, Janet of Ville Platte, Dr. Ricky Mark Landreneau and wife, Ginger of Ville Platte, and Timothy James Landreneau of Mamou thirteen, grandchildren, and eight greatgrandchildren one sister, Dornetta Duplechain, of Carencro She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mable Guillory Devillier.
The family requests that visitation take place on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Ardoin Funeral Home in Mamou. Father Mark Melancon will recite the rosary at 7:00 pm Tuesday. The Funeral home will open at 8:00 am on Wednesday until time services.
