MAMOUIt is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at The Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. She was 82. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 02, 2011 at St. Anns Catholic Church in Mamou. Interment will follow in the New St. Ann Mausoleum with Father Chanah officiating.
Anna Belle was a housewife who took joy in caring for her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, John Shelton Deville of Lake Charles three daughters, Verona D. and husband Larry Jones Fontenot of Mamou, Sandra D. Perron, of Mamou and Angela D. Nichols of Brandon, Mississippi one brother, Everret Babe Vidrine and wife Neva of Port Barre one sister, Bernadine Dean Fontenot of Ville Platte twelve grandchildren, thirtyone great grandchildren and host of greatgreat grandchildren.
Anna Belle now rests in Heaven with her beloved husband, Joseph Roosevelt Deville, her parents Elford and Elizabeth Vidrine, two sons Francis Joseph Deville and Roger Dale Deville one daughter, Clarice D. Miller and five grandchildren, Paul Vidrine, Jude Perron, Antoinette FeFe Miller, Catrina Granger, and Scott Fontenot.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Wednesday, June 1st from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and again on Thursday, June 2nd from 8:00 am until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Wednesday evening.
