MAMOU It is with great sadness that the family of Anatole Meche announces his passing on Friday, April 26, 2013. He was 80 years old. Chapel services will be held on Sunday April 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Mausoleum with Pastor Tim Moffet officiating.

He leaves behind his wife of 48 years Bernella Deshotels Meche of Mamou two sons, Shawn Meche of Mamou and Todd Deshotels of Pineville three daughters, Carol Meche Fontenot and husband Rob of Eunice, Sandra Meche Bellon and husband Kirt of Eunice and Sherry Deshotels Lee and husband Danny of Ville Platte nine grandchildren Ethan and Isabel Fontenot, Sabrina Dupre, Dusty and Calem Fontenot, Nicholas and Carmen Bellon, Jessica and Kelly Lee He now rests in Heaven with his, parents Eddie and Alma Meche and one granddaughter, Stevie Bellon. At the request of the family visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Mamou on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
