MAMOU It is with great sadness that the family of Allen J. Elvin Guillory, 79, announces his passing on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Anns Mausoleum in Mamou with Pastor Kevin West officiating.

Allen spent much of his life as a Superintendent, and the last years of his life as a chef. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend and is survived by his brother, Herland Guillory of Mamou niece, Regina Taylor of Jacksonville, FL grand nephew, David Taylor of Jacksonville, FL and is also leaving behind many friends in Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Melda Guillory and a brother, Harris Guillory.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Tuesday March 30, 2010 from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of Services.
